Since the topic comes up multiple times daily during the month of December, I’ve come up with a list of restaurants open on Christmas day in Savannah.
I contact each of these restaurants within 30 days of Christmas to verify that they’ll be open, but it’s always a good idea to double check before showing up. I’ve noted restaurants that said they may end up closing if they can’t find enough workers.

Restaurants Open Christmas Day
A good general rule of thumb is that the closer you are to the river, the more likely you are to find restaurants open for the holidays — especially if those restaurants are attached to hotels.
For that reason, the majority of these restaurants are located either in the Historic District or the Plant Riverside District.

It includes Wedge Salad or Coastal French Onion Soup, your choice of Prime Rib, Pan Roasted Verlasso Salmon, Glazed Ham, or Crispy Vegetarian Risotto, and your choice of Pecan Pie or Chocolate Mousse.
Their Christmas Eve Dinner includes the same options.
